Full Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by AOC in March 2007 during groundworks for a wall foundation trench adjacent to the A935 in 2007 in close proximity to the House of Dun and its estate. The work recorded no significant archaeological features or artefacts. A number of sandstone blocks encountered are believed to be remnants of the no longer extant wall, but no structure or regularity was observed.
