Farmstead, still in use, dated 1771 and 1831. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a quadrangular steading with central court, a horsemill attached to the south-west front and two smaller buildings, one to the north, the second to the south-east. There is an enclosure to the south-west containing a third small building. On the 2nd edition OS map the horsemill has been removed and part of the court has been roofed over. There are two additional buildings on the north. Current maps show that the steading has been completely roofed over and the outlying buildings have been removed. It has an arched and pedimented centre bay supporting an octagonal tower, which is surmounted by a cupola with a perforated pennant. A standing building survey was carried out in 2003 by SUAT ltd prior to partial demolition and re-development. It found that successive modifications had been carried out throughout the life of the buildings. The east range is dominated by a clock tower, with a weathervane dated 1771. A hayloft to the south of the clock tower is dated 1831. However the original build date is unclear, and may pre-date 1771. Cottages within the steading were dated to the early-19th century and the late-19th century, with various later modifications.

Period Notes
The earliest parts of the steading may be 17th century. There are sections dated 1771 and 1831. It was listed on 15/01/1980.
