Full Description
TWO SQUARE RED SANDSTONE GATEPOSTS, 3m APART. THE SOUTHERN POST IS 1.1m HIGH 0.60m SQUARE AND CONSTRUCTED OF THREE COURSES OF SANDSTONE. THE NORTHERN POST HAS A CAPPING STONE, STANDS 1.7m HGIH AND CONSTRUCTED OF 6 COURSES OF SANDSTONE. THERE ARE THE POORLY PRESERVED REMAINS OF A BOUNDARY WALL EXTENDING TO THE SOUTH OF THE SOUTHERNMOST POST, AND THE NORTH OF NORTHERNMOST POST. THE WALL CONTINUES FOLLOWING THE CLIFF EDGE. Recorded during coastal zone assessment survey carried out by SCAPE between February and March 2009.
