Full Description

Designed landscape around Ethie Castle (NO64NE0097), with a walled garden (NO64NE0098) to the west of the castle, a former garden storehouse (NO64NE0099) in the south-west corner of the walled garden and the remains of a garden house (NO64NE0039) to the south-west of the walled garden. On the 1st edition OS map, there is a burn running through the landscape to the west of the castle. On the 2nd edition OS map, the burn is depicted as being now mostly as large pond with three footbridges. Current maps show two new adjacent rectangular buildings to the south of the walled garden.
