Full Description
The remains of three buildings lie to the southwest of Ballochan. They are linked to the field dykes which are part of Bruntland. Two lie on the edge of a currently ploughed field. The largest one has stone footings 4m x 20m and is three-compartmented. The other has 2 compartments and is 4m x 12m. The third building lies to the southeast and is now incorporated into a late 19th century sheep dip. This is the only one of the three depicted as roofed on the OS map of 1865.
