Full Description
The foundations of a rectangular building, 4m x 16m, lie to the southwest of Birse Castle, set within a 90m long stone-walled enclosure, which survives up 1.3m high. The enclosure is depicted on the OS map of 1865 along with another building near its centre, but not this building. It is bisected by a modern fence-line.
