Full Description
The remains of a small farmstead are attached to the western boundary dyke of Ballochan. It comprises of two rectangular building footings, 4m x 12m and 5m x 10m, both with attached yards. It is depicted as occupied on the OS map of 1865, where a third building is shown to the south. This latter building does not appear on the OS 2nd edition 1888 map and the site is now crossed by a later track.
