Full Description
Remains of farmstead and mill: a cluster of buildings attached to a stone dyke that encloses the improved land of Ballochan. It comprises of a pair of rectangular stone houses attached to the dyke with an adjacent yard and a double enclosure to the north. To the east there is a line of three rectangular foundations, the largest of which was a mill which formerly had a vertical overshot wheel. Water was supplied from a dam via a lead. All the buildings have experienced the dumping of stones and other material.
