Full Description
Remains of a minor field system, comprising several stone clearance heaps in the area. Pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology recorded substantial clearance cairns over an area 500m by 200m. Near the west edge are the foundations of a rectangular building, surviving as stone and turf footing 9.5m by 4.5m. This is probably contemporary with a small area of rig and furrow amongst the clearance heaps. Covered in deep heather.
