Full Description

Remains of a shieling hut located on a small natural terrace, recorded by field survey in 2015. It is of drystone construction, and measures 3m by 2m. The footings of the rectangular hut measure circa 8.5m by 3m with an entrance in the south wall. The lack of tumble indicates that it was a turf walled building.
