Full Description

Remains of a farmstead, depicted on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as three roofed buildings, one unroofed building and three enclosures. On the 2nd edition of 1888, only one of the buildings is shown as being roofed. Today, the there are the remains of a gabled cottage which appears to have been constructed out of the remaining roofed building. The structures which lay to the northwest of this building are largely lost in dense gorse thickets. On the east there is a building with walls 0.7m high, and footings of further structures lie to the west-southwest and south-southeast of this building. A rectangular enclosure lies in a hollow at edge of field 200m to the southwest (NJ 0535 5161). Recorded by the Royal Commission, 21 June 1991.
