Full Description

Remains of farmstead, depicted on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as a range of buildings set around the sides of a rectangular yard with small buildings to the south and west. On the 2nd edition map of 1888, the buildings to the south and west are shown as incomplete, while only the southeast wing of the main range is depicted. Now only the ruined building on the southeast side of the yard stands, choked with field clearance. Faint traces of the ranges round the northwest and southwest sides can also be detected, with the remains of a horse-engine to the rear of the southwest range. Recorded by the Royal Commission, 21 June 1991.
