Full Description
Remains of mill dam: a bank up to 1m in height is the remains of the former dam of a pond supplying the water-powered pail and sawmills further down the Feugh. The dam blocked a former meander creating a pond 90m x 50m which was supplied by a channel leading off a weir on the river. The dam is now partially washed away by the river. A gap marks the former position of the sluice gate.
