Full Description
Hut circle (centred on NO 5904 9113) with an extensive system of stone clearance heaps. The hut circle along with two to the east (NO59SE0007 at NO 5928 9114 and NO59SE0023 at NO 5932 9120) forms a settlement centred on NO 592 911 among undulating ground. The huts are of similar shape and form, oval and ranging in size from 10m by 9m to 8m by 7m. The turf-covered walls with stone protruding are spread to about 2m wide and 0.30m high. The longer axis of the huts lie east-west with entrances in the east. Field clearance cairns covering about a hectare surround this hut. Stone has been added to the heaps in more recent times. No plots are visible.
