Full Description
Remains of a field system marked by stone clearance heaps and a few ill-defined lynchets. Originally recorded by OS, and subsequently during walkover survey in 1996. On the west side of the burn are more stone clearance heaps and a few lynchets centred at NO552919 marking an extension to the system. These however, are more widely spaced and less evident than the former. At the southwest edge of the system at approximately NO55459181 are two rectangular buildings, one within a wall (see also NO59SE0032). Deep heather masked the area.
