Full Description
Remains of cairn. OS site visit (1972) recorded that a curving scarp in the east probably represents the edge of the cairn in this quadrant, otherwise all that can be seen is turf-covered debris, insufficient to estimate the size and shape of the cairn. Part of it was dug into in circa 1860 when human remains and several silver coins were found. RCAHMS site visit 1978 concluded that some of the stones are probably field clearance.
