Full Description

Walled garden and garden buildings, still in use, built in the earlier 19th century and associated with Aboyne Castle (NO59NW0005). It is a rectangular-plan granite rubble walled garden with flat coping. The Garden House to the north-west has a base course, projecting cills, eaves course, a boarded timber door with a letterbox fanlight to the west elevation, irreguarlly placed timber sash and case windows and a graded grey slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods. To the south-west of the Garden House is The Wee House that is within the western wall of the garden. It is square-plan with a glazed door with timber windows and a piended roof with cast-iron rainwater goods.
