Full Description
Stone, possibly a former boundary marker or part of the old march stones of Forres, located along the northwest side of Grant Park, opposite the Victoria Road and North Road Junction. It is not shown on the historic OS maps, although the maps do show a benchmark close by at the park perimeter boundary, which is not shown on the current OS edition map. The stone measures 740 mm in height, 470 mm in width, and appears to have had markings although they are no longer legible. Possibly related to other potential boundary marker stones (NJ05NW0522) on the west side of Cluny Hill.
