House, still in use, and surrounding designed landscape. Built in the 18th century with later additions and alterations. The wings are dated 1791, however the original house may date to 1721. It is a quadrangular plan building with the main house to the centre of the south frontage. This elevation is two-storey, basement and attic and three-window, with a centre pediment and corbelled cornice. The two-storey symmetrical wings (dated 1791) are set back and harled with windows framed in margins and string courses flush with the harl. The north frontage is ashlar and symmetrical, with a two-storey centre and ends with single-storey links, and was added in the early 19th century. A Level 2 Standing Building Survey of the house was carried out in 2016 by Cameron Archaeology prior to proposed alterations. At least five phases of development were identified, with several additional alterations since the 18th century. In the 18th century a two storey house with attic and basement was constructed with parkland and views to the south. Two wings were later added, and the east and west wings extended and a north wing added with stables, bothy and other agricultural buildings in the late 18th or early 19th century. Adjacent to the east of the house are the remains of a walled garden.
