Full Description
Identified from RAF aerial photographs taken in June 1947, and designated AR 1 by the War Office, built to cover Arbroath airfield (NO64SW0029). The active part would have been circa 1 km to the west-southwest in an area now a forestry plantation. Now with an earth bank around, the 1947 photographs show that it was originally covered with earth.
