Full Description
A LINEAR CONCRETE BARRIER, INCORPORATING AN EARLIER ARCH (NO53NE0124), BUILT TO PROTECT THE RAILWAY LINE. SOME OF THE CONCRETE BLOCKS CARRIED NUMBERS, WHICH MAY BE DATES, AND IF SO, DATING THE DEFENCE TO THE 1940s. Recorded during coastal zone assessment survey carried out by SCAPE between February and March 2009.
