Full Description

Depopulated settlement in a small clearing in woodlands, comprising the remains of longhouses and small enclosures. At NO 41920 97400 Glen Tanar survey 2005 recorded the grass covered footings of a drystone dyke, circa 1m wide and up to 0.5m high with a ditch on the west side. It abuts one of the buildings in the settlement and then runs in an arc through the woodland terminating at NO 41935 97690.
