Full Description
Remains of a large cairn, with several smaller cairns on the ridge. When the large cairn was opened in 1818 a small gold chain of four links attached to a pin were recovered, but as this excavation was in the southeast section and the centre is intact, the finds are likely from a secondary burial set in the side of the cairn. The bottom of the cairn was found to be neatly paved. Some stone clearance heaps and field banks visible in area are from a very minor field system of indeterminate age.
