Full Description
Milestone depicted on the OS 2nd edition map. It is a grey granite pillar, 0.49m high and roughly triangular in section with a rounded rear. On the west face is an incised letter 'E' and below it '12' indicating 12 miles from Edzell. On the north face is the letter 'I' and below it '4' indicating 4 miles from Invermark Lodge. It is one of 15 milestones which were set up in the late 19th century on the west side of the road from Edzell to Invermark Lodge.
