Full Description
War memorial to 19 OTU Forres, standing beside the A96. A rough stone mortared 'cairn' on the face of which is a plaque commemorating those who served at the WWII RAF satellite station at Balnageith, and to the Polish airmen billeted at the site 1945-47. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive. Close to the cairn is a large model of a Whitley.
