Full Description

Possible longhouse footings recorded during walkover survey by Highland Archaeology Services in May 2025 ahead of proposed woodland planting (NO39SW0087). Both comprise a scatter of large and medium stones, lichen and moss covered. At the northern one the stones formed a clear crescent at the north end with a possible internal division downslope. The other comprised a possible crescent at the north end and a cluster at the south. Although these could be the very disturbed remains of longhouses this was not clear.
