Full Description

Remains of a very tumbled drystone wall recorded during walkover survey by Highland Archaeology Services in May 2025 ahead of proposed woodland planting (NO39SW0087). Comprising local rounded stones, it was spread up to 3 m suggested either two tumbled walls or a double skinned, rubble-cored wall. It is shown as a field boundary on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, and is shown on current maps.. It is shown as a field boundary on the OS 2nd edition maps, and is shown on current maps. The wall appears to be part of Camlet farmstead (NO39SW0013), and links to a wider network of walls outwith the survey area.
