Full Description
Hotel (formerly the Loirston Hotel). The building along the Victoria Road street frontage is shown on the OS 1st edition. By the time of the 2nd edition it had been extended to the rear, forming a T-plan arrangement of buildings. To the northwest is an associated pavilion (NO39NE0137), originally built as a function room for the hotel. The hotel is shown as a Temperance Hotel on the 3rd edition map with some additions, along with the associated pavilion having been enlarged.
