Full Description
Mill, with an early foundation. It is depicted on the OS maps of 1846 and 1888. A mill lade leads from the old fishpond of Sanquhar house northwards to the mill. It has been much rebuilt in the 19th and 20th century. The oldest part of this complex is a 2-storey, 2 by 5-bay block. The mill was known for the production of oatmeal. Also known as Forres Mills.
