Full Description

Remains of longhouses and barns, comprising low walls of rubble built structures. They are depicted on the OS 1st edition 1867 map which shows one unroofed and two roofed structures. They do not appear on the OS 2nd edition map. A short distance to the north is the remains of a footbridge crossing the Allt Darrarie, which may be connected to the old longhouse settlements. It comprises a stone abutment on each bank, and a large boulder with an attached iron hoop in the middle of the burn.
