Full Description
Remains of six rectangular buildings, recorded during RCAHMS survey in June 1999 (CLOVA99 808-813). The buildings range from 5.6 m to 12 m in length by 1.8 m to 2.5 m in breadth within walls largely reduced to footings. The largest building (CLOVA99 813) has been divided into three compartments, one with an entrance on the south southwest side. Another building (CLOVA99 809) has two compartments and two others (CLOVA99 811 and 812) each have an outshot at one end. Not shown on the 1st or 2nd edition OS maps. Walkover survey in 2021 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NO37SW0150) recorded only three buildings, at NO3268273275, NO3267153566 and NO3266579208.
