Full Description
Sheepfold depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, and also shown on current OS maps. RCAHSM site visit 1999 noted that it measures 18m by 15m. Walkover survey ahead of proposed woodland creation in 2021 (NO37SW0151) recorded this large sheepfold, which is of drystone construction with a clearly defined entrance on the south side flanked by orthostats.
