Full Description

Remains of a building and enclosure recorded by RCAHMS Glen Clova survey in 1999. The building measures 7.4m by 2.1m within walls which have been reduced to a grass-grown stony bank up to 0.4m high. The trapezoidal enclosure lies upslope. Walkover survey ahead of proposed woodland creation in 2021 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NO37SW0151) noted that the building (MM08) remains were heavily overgrown, but appears to be of two compartments. Downslope the walls remain up to 0.75m. To the southwest is a sheepfold (MM91) with low stone walls on the northeast and more substantial walls upslope. It measures circa 13m across.
