Full Description

Remains of three buildings recorded by Headland Archaeology in 1998 during survey of the Balnaboth Estate. They survive as turf covered walls or stony banks up to 0.6 m high. The northernmost measures 7 m by 3.5 m and has an attached D-shaped enclosure to the northeast. There is a single roomed structure to the south measuring 6 m by 3.5 m. The third lies to the southeast beside a burn and measures 10 m by 3 m, with an entrance in the northeast wall that leads into the larger of the two rooms. A low L-plan bank abutting the northwest corner of the bank forms a small pen, 2 m by 3 m.
