Full Description
A desk-based assessment and walkover survey was carried out by GUARD Archaeology over two areas ahead of proposed woodland creation. No sites were previously recorded in this area (Area B) and the walkover survey noted only two clearance cairns The area is woodland - part of Crossbogs Plantation - on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, subsequently cleared and re-afforested in the 20th century. See NO36SE0079.for Area A.
