Full Description
Remains of a semi-circular enclosure defined by turf- and heather-covered banks measuring 1m wide and a maximum of 0.5m high. Some stone is visible in the banks. The enclosure appears to be cut by the fence line and old stone dyke within the forestry. Recorded by GUARD during survey in 1999. Walkover survey was carried out by GUARD Archaeology in 2021 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NO36SE0079). The enclosure was well preserved, though overgrown.
