Full Description

Remains of a building set within an enclosure, situated on the edge of a deep gorge above the Burn of Glencally, were recorded by Headland Archaeology during a survey of the Balnaboth Estate. Only the north-west end of two concentric rectangular stony banks survive above the gorge. The outer enclosure is defined by a 2m wide stony bank standing up to 0.6m in height. it measures 12m across and survives for 12m. Within the building survives for 7m in length and is 6m wide over a 1.5m wide and 0.4m high stony bank.
