Full Description

An area containing banks, hut-circles, hut-platforms, rectangular and sub-rectangular features, recorded during a short-notice forestry survey in 1966 by Headland Archaeology. The structures are grouped into six clusters within the area with hut-circles, circa 10-14m in diameter, occurring in pairs. Some of these have additional platforms located nearby. The rectangular features form two groups of three with two isolated features nearby. All are covered in heather. A sinuous discontinuous bank, 1-1.5m wide and circa 0.2m high runs up the slope for circa 60m. (See also NO36NW0009)
