Full Description
Remains of a farmstead, sheepfolds and associated field system. On the 1st edition OS map (1865) the farmstead is shown as two buildings with an adjacent enclosure and two sheepfolds, the southern being sub-rectangular and labelled 'Sheep Rees', the northern being a square sheepfold. The buildings are shown as disused by the 2nd edition OS map (circa 1888). Two further buildings to the north are shown on the 2006 map. When photographed by the RCAHMS in 1998 and 1999, the remains were recorded as lying within a block of preserved rig and furrow, amongst which there are several field banks.
