Remains of a farmstead that were recorded by Headland Archaeology during a survey of the Balnaboth Estate. The farmstead comprises two enclosures separated by a track, each of which contains two buildings. Those in the northern enclosure form its south side and lie hard against the track. The eastern building measures 13.5 m from east-west by 3.5 m, with over 0.8 m wide and 0.4 m high turf-covered stone walls. Within there are traces of a partition wall. The second building lies just to the southwest. It measures 9 m from northeast-southwest by 4.2 m, and is defined by stony banks standing up to 0.5 m in height. The sub-rectangular enclosure, measuring 30 m x 25 m, with 0.5 m high stony banks, extends off to the north. The buildings in the southern enclosure form its northeastern and southeastern sides. That on the northeast lies on a small knoll and measures 14 m from northwest-southeast by 4 m overall. The west end survives as a low platform, whilst the east end is defined by a low stony bank. The building on the southeast side of the enclosure comprises indistinct stony lines forming a rectangular structure measuring 6.5 m from northeast-southwest by x 3 m. The adjacent enclosure, which measures 25 m x 20 m, is partly defined by a row of boulders and partly by a low stony bank. This enclosure is depicted on the OS 1st edition (1865) annotated as a sheepfold, but had been removed and not shown on the OS 2nd edition map (circa 1888).
