Full Description
Remains of a rectangular drystone building, possibly a cottage. It was recorded by Headland Archaeology during a survey of the Balnaboth Estate. Its dimensions are 3.5 m x 14 m, aligned north-south. The walls are 0.7 m wide and up to 0.8 m high and clearly visible in the south half of the building, which is divided into two rooms. No clear remains of the wall at the north half of the building which is defined by a low platform. The building is shown as a two roomed unroofed structure on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
