Full Description
War memorial standing at the junction of the B9010 and Church Terrace. It comprises an obelisk of pink granite, the lower face with a carved stone wreath, on a square die and partly voluted three-stepped base set within a low-walled enclosure with iron railings. The faces of the base are carved with dedications to those killed in the First and Second World wars. The memorial was unveiled 30 April 1922 by Master Galloway of Blervie, son of Major Galloway who was killed in France. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
