Full Description
The farmstead is still in use. It is depicted on the first edition OS map of 1867 as an L-shaped steading open to the southeast. A millpond lies to the south with lade leading to the farm. By the second edition of 1888, the steading has been extended to a large rectangular building aligned northeast-southwest with a short wing extending southeast from the southwest end. There are additional small rectangular buildings to the east and southwest. Two small adjoining ponds now lie to the south. Parts of the original steading appear to survive, but new buildings have been added to the west, east and south. The ponds are no longer evident although the lade survives.
