Full Description
Remains of huts and an enclosure. The enclosure, marked 'Sheep Ree' is shown on the OS maps from the 1st edition OS map (circa 1846) onwards. Its continued existence and that of the remains of huts in the vicinity were recorded by the RCAHMS during field survey. this recorded the building as measuring 6.6m (north-northwest to south-southeast) by 2.8m within walls reduced to stony banks no more than 0.3m in height. The hut lying 75m to the southeast, measures 3.5m (north-northwest to south-southeast) by 2.2m within rubble walls 0.4m in height, with an entrance in the east-northeast side.
