Full Description
Remains of a building recorded by CFA survey in 2007 ahead of proposed wind farm. This recorded the grass-covered footings of a rectangular building circa 270 m to the west-northwest of Garlow. It is 10 m long by 5 m wide with walls circa 0.7 m wide and 0.2 m high. To the north of the building are several clearance cairns, the largest at NJ 3049 5776 is 5 m in diameter and 2 m high, and the others circa 2 m in diameter and 0.3 m high. The building is not depicted on either the OS 1st or 2nd edition maps.
