Full Description

The grass-covered footings of a roughly circular enclosure lie circa 260m west-northwest of Garlow farm. It probably represents a stock enclosure. It is not depicted on the OS 2st or 2nd edition maps. The enclosure is circa 14m in diameter within a turf-covered bank. A field survey by CFA in 2007 ahead of proposed wind farm recorded that the enclosure lies within a modern fenced enclosure. The turf bank is 1m wide and 0.6m high with a gap on its east side 0.6m wide, which may be the original entrance.
