Full Description
Remains of a small farmstead to the west of Garlow Wood. It is depicted on the OS 1st edition map as U-plan, open to the south, with a single building attached to its northeast corner. Another building lies to the southeast with an attached enclosure and a building lies to the south within the open court. Two other single buildings lie to the west one of which is disused. A mill pond lies to the northeast with a lade. On the OS 2nd edition map it remains similar although the main central range of the U-shape appears to be disused. On present maps (2006) the U-shaped central block has gone as has the mill pond. Only one small part on the west side survives with a roof.
