Full Description
Remains of a large round house, possibly a circular homestead. Recorded by Sherriff in 1986. It lies on the north-east flank of Brankam Hill. It measures 18.7 m northwest to southeast x 17.3 m. It has a low rubble wall up to 2m thick with an outer wall face composed of large boulders. The inner face has been largely robbed, probably for the construction of the amorphous remains of a probably later building which lies in the north half of the possible homestead. The entrance is in the south-east. Taylor, because of the size of the kerb, regards this as a circular homestead, a building related to pastoral economy, used to house both livestock and their guardians. He also recorded that circa 1990 it was in use as a feeding area for cattle.
