Full Description
Ordnance Survey trigonometrical survey point (OS trig point) depicted on the GSGS 1947-1950 map. It is in the form of a pillar constructed for the mid-20th century retriangulation of Great Britain. An earlier, 19th century, trig point is shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps approximately 48 m to the southwest (NJ04SE0009).
