Full Description
Pair of thatched cottages dated 1745, in residential use as one property. It is a single storey, 6-bay building, harled and white-washed, with four 12-pane timber sash and case windows, symmetrically either side of the two timber doors. The roof is directional thatch with a scobed ridge, whilst to the rear, the north east extension is slated. The chimney stacks are harled and coped with thackstanes and polygonal cans. The building was renovated circa 1980. The datestone of 1745 is believed not to be in situ, but not necessarily inaccurate.
